Intro to Beating Anxiety

In my last Snippets, I talked about my recent victory over depression and anxiety, and I promised a few installments detailing the methods I used. Before I start touching on each individually, I'd like to give a broad overview because it's been my experience that any one of these by itself doesn't work. I'd hate to have you try one thing and give up on it because you didn't know there were other things that needed to go along with it. In the next few weeks, you'll read about methods that are cognitive (how you change your thoughts), chemical (nutrition and medication), consciousness-expanding (meditation and mindfulness), and creative (lifestyle changes that support happiness). Personally, I think getting your chemistry right is imperative before anything else can work, so I'll cover that first. Stay tuned for more!
